Herconomy, a Women-Focused Organisation Secures Partnership Deal With Aviation Company, Qatar Airways
Herconomy just secured a global partnership with Qatar Airways! This
partnership ensures that its community members receive 10% off when they
fly with Qatar Airways. It’s always great to see an organization that
simply makes life easier for its community!
Herconomy, a fintech organisation which caters primarily for the African women’s empowerment, financially, economically, aiding and improving the standard of living in the process, partners with Arab-owned aviation company, Qatar Airways, to ease the hassle of travelling, providing incredible discount rates for Herconomy’s Gold members through an electronic card which grants these Gold members access to the large group of partners who are part of the organisation’s affinity partnership network
This partnership between Herconomy and Qatar Airways was secured and finalised at the Airline’s Headquarters in Lekki on Friday, October 22. At the meeting, Herconomy’s founder, Ifedayo Durosinmi-Etti spoke on what the partnership deal meant to the organisation, their goal and for her personally. She mentioned that the opportunity to travel the world played a pivotal role in her development, educating her on the contrast between the financial freedom women enjoy in developed countries and Nigeria. She says: “Traveling fosters a medium to build human connections with one another. The opportunity to travel, grow, learn something new, new cultures, and see the way people live their day to day lives in different parts of the world. That is truly the best on-site learning a person can get, and we’re so grateful to Qatar for allowing our community to leverage this opportunity.”
For Herconomy, Charles Nwosu, Business Development Manager, Herconomy; Anu Anibaba, Program Manager attended while representatives for the Qatar team were Kennedy K. Chirchir, Country Manager, Nigeria; Henry Ugeh, Senior Sales Executive, Nigeria; and Omolola Ojo, E-Commerce Officer, Nigeria.
It should be of note that Herconomy was previously known as AGS Tribe which partnered with e-commerce giant, Amazon earlier this year.
