Crayon, also known as Crayway, has finally decided to unveil his debut album to the world this July, after keeping it under wraps for a while. The singer-songwriter joyfully confirmed the news on July 4 through a Twitter post.
Having already released his debut EP, ‘Cray Cray,’ in 2019 and a sophomore EP, ‘Twelve A.M,’ in 2021, Crayon, who was born and raised in Lagos, is no stranger to the music scene. Now, he is taking a step further by presenting his first full-length album in July.
The highly anticipated album, titled ‘Trenches To Triumph,’ revolves around the theme of overcoming adversity and rising to success. The lead single, ‘Modupe,’ has already provided a glimpse of what the album has in store.

In the accompanying Twitter caption, he wrote, ‘We were just Trench KidDs, and now we are triumphant. “Trench To Triumph” coming this July.‘
To intensify the excitement, Crayon quoted the original tweet with the impactful words, ‘Brace yourselves.’
Fans and admirers of Crayon can’t contain their joy at the prospect of his first album. However, the official release date remains unknown to the public. Nonetheless, the potential cover art has been circulating on social media since the announcement of ‘Trenches To Triumph‘.
