Coronavirus can survive high-temperature exposure, study shows

Despite previous doubts, the novel COVID-19 is capable of enduring prolonged exposure to high temperatures according to a report conducted by Professor Remi Charrel and Boris Pastorino at the University of Aix-Marseille in France. Scientists in the experiment found that usually 60 ° Celsius (140 ° F) hot temperatures used to disinfect research laboratories are ineffective against the coronavirus. Then the pathogen can only be killed for 15 minutes at a maintained temperature of 92 ° C.
