It’s no secret that Deadpool will make his MCU debut in Deadpool 3. Thus, many Marvel fans are eagerly awaiting the upcoming film. Filming is currently ongoing at the Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, England. Filming appears to be going well, as recent set photographs provided fans with their first glimpse at Wade Wilson’s (Ryan Reynolds) new Deadpool 3 costume. Although the new suit resembles the original in many ways. This one looks to have more saturated primary colors, resulting in a brighter red appearance.
Many fans will be relieved that no big changes were made to the suit’s current design. This is because Deadpool fans have regularly expressed concerns about Disney tampering with the character’s normally mature tone to make the character fit into the MCU’s current style.
However, Karan Soni, who plays Dopinder in the Deadpool films, recently addressed fans’ concerns. The actor stated in an interview with comicbook.com that the upcoming movie will maintain the same tone as its predecessors. “I have begun working on that one, so I can say that it is the same as the other two. It’s like a hard R. There’s a lot of that stuff. So it does not feel different,” Soni told ComicBook.com. “The only thing that, for me, is different is that I have not gotten the script this time. The other two, we did get it; it’s a big difference, at least for me, between the MCU part of it and the Fox/Marvel part of it. They’re so strict. So I’ve only seen glimpses of what I’m in.”
He further stated, “When I did some of the stuff, I saw some things that I didn’t know were in the thing. I think I would just say it this way: Ryan Reynolds doesn’t need to do any of these movies unless he gets to do his version of them, and he is such a star and, I don’t need to say this, a creative genius. He’s taking this opportunity and really pushing everything, and, definitely, he’s doing a lot of cool stuff. I feel very optimistic about it. He and [director] Shawn [Levy] work so well together that I think it will be really exciting for people to see how they take their collaborations that they’ve done, now successfully twice, in this new version and play in this massive sandbox with a lot of stuff. It is very exciting. I will not underestimate Ryan Reynolds.”
Karan Soni says ‘DEADPOOL 3’ is still hard R and “does not feel different” from the previous 2 films.
