The Flash Trailer Debuts with First Look at Michael Keaton’s Batman and Sasha Lane’s Supergirl
Warner Bros. Discovery has officially released a new trailer for its upcoming DCEU movie, The Flash.
The trailer, which debuted during the Super Bowl, has generated tremendous buzz on social media. showcased the main plot points of The Flash, in which Barry Allen, played by Ezra Miller, uses his super speed to travel back in time. to prevent his mother’s murder, which happened when he was still a boy.
However, due to the unpredictability of time travel, Barry inadvertently messes with the timeline and ends up visiting an alternate dimension. where metahumans do not exist and the earth is defenseless against General Zod’s forces.
Also, the new trailer shows Miller’s Barry Allen interacting with an alternate version of himself. Two batmen are played by Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton. What’s more, Michael Shannon’s General Zod from “Man of Steel” will also be returning. With Sasha Lane finally debuting as Supergirl.
The cast also includes Kiersey Clemons as Iris West; Saoirse-Monica Jackson; Antje Traue; and Maribel Verd.
Directed by Andy Muschietti (chapters 1 and 2). And it’s a script written by Christina Hodson and produced by Michael Disco and Barbara Muschietti. The film which s based on the acclaimed Flashpoint comics. Is expected to reboot the DCEU while setting the stage for James Gunn and Peter Safran’s new DC Universe.
However, there is still much uncertainty over the future of Ezra Miller’s flash. Not just because of the planned reboot. But also due to their problematic actions in the last couple of years, which required Warner Bros discovery’s financial intervention to contain the stars’ legal troubles. Regardless, “The Flash” is set to hit theaters on June 16. With DC Studios’ co-head, James Gunn stating it’s a must-watch for fans.
