Seyi Vibez: Shuts Down 5k O2 Indigo; Surpasses 100M Streams on Spotify

It is Seyi Vibez season, and we are all experiencing it. The star shuts down the 5000-capacity O2 Indigo while simultaneously surpassing 100M Spotify streams.

Seyi Vibez

Seyi Vibez Live in Concert

Since getting his industry big break last year, Seyi Vibez has been on a volatile run. Serving his fan base 5 projects in 8 months has reaped a bountiful harvest for the Street-Hop artist. His first headline show outside Nigeria is an indication of that. Yesterday, 11 August 2023, Seyi Vibez shut down the 5000-capacity O2 Indigo Arena in London.

On the cusp of Seyi’s penetration into the mainstream industry, there were doubts about his ability to maintain the energy-burning within him. Without a doubt, he has done just that. Shutting down the O2 Indigo is not a small task! More impressive, however, is that tickets for the show went live just 2 months ago.

The announcement of Seyi Vibez Live in Concert read: “If you love Loseyi, Come vibe with me live in concert [at O2 Indigo].” And yes, London pulled up in numbers for the boy.

His introduction was grand as he received ovation from the crowd with the band harmonizing his Para Boi hit single. “Hish hish, okay, dey play” blasted from the speakers as he mounted the stage and made his presence felt.

Without missing a word, the O2 Indigo crowd sang word-for-word every lyric of the songs Seyi performed. From Bullion Van to +234 to Darling to Man of the Year—they joyously voiced along with the star of the show.

A special moment for Seyi Vibez came as he paid tribute to his late mother on stage. The on-screen caption read: “REST IN PEACE. MRS BALOGUN AMDALLAH. January 8 1966 – March 16 2023.” Soon after the observation, Seyi restored the immaculate vibes he is known for, serving the crowd the time of their lives.

100 Milli Loseyi

More happy news for Seyi Vibez as he crosses 100 million streams on Spotify across all credits. A feat only a few of his compeers have achieved or surpassed.

Seyi Vibez does not plan on stopping anytime soon. “Tor, Calming down is not recommended / Organically documented,” he sings proudly in Para Boi, a sure indication of incredible things laying ahead for Loseyi.
