Dressed loosely in pink shirt, purple pants and a black jacket, Seyi Shay arrived for the listening party to her highly anticipated forthcoming album, fittingly titled Big Girl, an event well graced by powerful and notable women and men in music and media; Seyi Shay’s Big Girl listening party was proudly sponsored by Baileys, an avid supporter of women and sisterhood, a brand who also shares same vision Seyi Shay has for her Big Girl album.

The Big Girl listening party started off by Seyi Shay telling the audience the inspiration behind her Big Girl album, the journey that led to it, including how she spent the past few years growing, learning, meditating and finding inner peace. Big Girl album is very significant to Seyi Shay as it depicts her evolution to becoming a “Big Girl”. On what to expect, Seyi Shay made known to the attendees that she is not scared to express raw emotions of fear, fearlessness, pain, growth, sadness, joy and everything else that resulted in her evolution to becoming a “Big Girl” by means of her ever euphonic, melodic vocals

Bella Adeleke delightfully interacted with Seyi Shay in a conversational manner throughout the Saturday, November 26th night; the guests were not left out either. Seyi Shay rendered the acoustic version to few songs from the Big album, including “Let Me Know”, “By You” and the album title track, “Big Girl”, which was well received by the guests and thoroughly enjoyed with the Baileys drink to go with the ambience.

Some of the notable guests at the Big Girl album listening party were award-winning singer-songwriter – Omawunmi, actress, model and media personality – Nancy Isime, Bella Adeleke, Mavin Records founder and renowned producer – Don Jazzy, amongst others.

Grammy nominated producers in Kel P and Dro the engineer worked with Seyi Shay on this album. Big Girl is available for pre-order/pre-save now, awaiting its Friday, December 10 release date.
