The Duchess of Sussex lost the first High Court battle on Sunday against the publishers of The Mail.
The case focuses on the publication by the newspaper of a letter written by Meghan to her estranged brother, Thomas Markle.
In a Friday decision, Mr. Warby made a claim against the publisher, Associated Newspapers in parts
of the Duchess’ petition, including charges of behaving “untruthfully” by ignoring certain parts of the letter, on Sunday.
The judge also raised claims that Meghan and her father had purposely “blown up” problems and had an “agenda” of publishing negative or insulting articles about her.
