The Big Brother Naija All Stars season just entered its seventh week. However, if you missed out on week 6, which saw the housemates face numerous emotional and physical challenges, Then we’ve got you covered. Here is a recap of the drama-filled sixth week at Big Brother’s house.
Week 6 Head of House Games
The week began, as it always does, with the Head of House (HOH) games. An endurance game decided this week’s HOH games. It involved six finalists who had to balance on a lever while preventing the contents at the other end from collapsing. Finally, it came down to Doyin and Cross. But the two bargained with Doyin, promising him two BFF badges if he let her win. This resulted in Doyin becoming the sixth Head of the House. Cross, Kim Oprah, Neoenergy, and Mercy Eke were chosen as her BFFs for the week.
Similarly, Alex achieved immunity through the black envelope challenge after Prince, who is a guest and thus cannot have immunity from eviction, gave her the envelope.
Following the HOH games, Biggie informed the housemates that he had reinstated nominations and that Pardon Me had been canceled. As a result, the housemates proceeded to the diary room to make their selections. Thus, they put Angel, Adekunle, Seyi, and Ike up for eviction.
Week 6 Wager Task
This week’s wager task in the Big Brother Naija house was all about music. Biggie challenged the housemates to write and perform a 15-minute Afrobeat song. However, despite their best efforts and outstanding performances, The housemates did not win the wager. As a result, they had to give up all of their hard-earned Moniepoint coins.
Fights and Altercations in the Big Brother Naija House
Alex was at the center of several arguments this week. First, she had an altercation with Mercy Eke following the Guinness task on Thursday. Things got heated as Alex told Mercy some hurtful things, including the “go and die” statement.
The altercation profoundly affected Mercy, who admitted to feeling lonely in her weekly diary session. She said, “I’m not sure I can stay here anymore. “I feel like I’m not wanted here. I’m tired of being picked on and bullied.”
She described her predicament by saying, “I was feeling alone, and I hate to feel alone because sometimes I just want to be very strong, and I don’t want to even cry here. When Frodd left, I was like, at least Alex is even here, and Prince came, and I felt really sad to fight with Alex of all people.“
Similarly, Alex confronted Ike on Thursday night during a pool party. The event began innocently enough, with Alex and Doyin attempting to tackle Ike. However, things quickly devolved when Alex began repeatedly striking Ike. According to her, she defended herself because Ike attempted to drown her in the pool. However, Ike refuted the allegation and said he was only fooling around.
