Disney Pixar, the company that produced numerous legendary animated films, is not slowing down after a year full of material like Turning Red and Lightyear; instead, it is getting ready to release a brand-new original feature picture titled Elemental.
The upcoming film is described as being “set in Element City, where residents of fire, water, land, and air live together,” and the story centers on two citizens of the city named Ember and Wade, who have very different personalities and who accidentally challenge each other’s worldviews by becoming friends after meeting by chance on a train.
The trailer opens with a scene of many elementals interacting on the subway. There are bathing aquatic creatures, people hanging out in the air, and parents on earth carrying their children around in clay pots. Wade and Ember, the two major characters, meet towards the conclusion of the story. This is the first update on Elemental, which was introduced earlier this year.
The release date for the Peter Sohn-directed film is presently set for 2023, making it the sole film from Pixar for that year. The movies stars Leah Lewis and Mamoudou Athie, who play Ember and Wade, respectively.
