Logos Olori puts out his debut single since getting signed to the revamped DMW label. The song is rightfully titled Jaiye Lo (‘Keep on Enjoying Life’ in English) considering the 180 his life must have taken this year. Jaiye Lo is produced by Magicsticks.
The marathon continues but for now, Logos Olori relishes every moment of the victory lap in Jaiye Lo. The South African House/Dance drum beat sets the tone for Logos’ infectious vocals to permeate our attentive ears, invariably giving room for our body to get contacted with the vibes.
Olori sings: “When I get this money, all of them go dobale.” In that, Logos makes sure to state his aim—making money and getting respect from his peers. To confirm if that aim has been achieved, the song hook gives a clue, “Mon gbono / . . . / Won fe mo bi mo shey jaiye lo.”
Although seemingly swimming in new money, Logos Olori wishes to acquire more but unfailingly remembers to thank God and his big boss Davido for his current situation. Logos sings with thanks, “Alhamdulilah say big money coming / Malaika mi O.B.O noni.”
The melodic play of the electric guitar provides the perfect outro for the enjoyable 2:46 minutes of the track.
