Ini Dima-Okojie simply put is a fashion icon. Ini Dima-Okojie ties the knot with the love of her life, Abasi Ene-Obong on Saturday May 21st at the luxurious event centre, Harbour Point in V.i, Lagos. It was a celebration of love and a perfect representation of Ini’s love for fashion.
Ini Dima-Okojie and Abasi Ene-Obong began their happily ever after journey about a year when they announced their engagement on social media in June 2021. Abasi had proposed after two solid fruitful years of courtship. The couple legalised their union on May 19th and publicised it by traditional marriage on May 21st.
Ini Dima-Okojie is a Nollywoood actress who has starred in many top rated movies, with the most recent being the positively received Netflix’s original ‘Blood Sisters’ series. She weds her companion Abasi Ene-Obong who is the founder and CEO of 54gene — an African genomics company focused on building the world’s first Pan-African biobank.

The traditional blissful union of Ini Dima-Okojie and Abasi Ene-Obong was graced by their loving family members and a group of 1000 supportive friends and well-wishers which included a star-studded guest list of Kate Henshaw, Nancy Isime, Toke Makinwa, Shaffy Bello, Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Bovi, Waje, Omawumi, Daniel Etim-Effiong, Osas Ighodaro, Akah Nnani, Uti Nwachukwu, Denrele Edun and lots more in attendance. Lanre Da Silva Ajayi and Tubobereni—celebrity fashion designer tasked with making the elegant bride’s wears also graced the occasion.

Edo and Calabar cultures united as one birthing arrays of beautiful colours and exotic style. Ini Dima-Okojie who hails from Edo State, shined the light on her culture; Tubo and Lanre Da Silva both delivered by styling her gorgeously in the Edo outfit and the regal Calabar for the after party respectively.
