Soft-spoken singer, Lady Donli is back with a new body of work, an EP—Wild—this time going out of the box a little bit, drifting away from her classic trademark alternative genre, making pop, R&B infused music, telling stories of her love life and what she would do for it through six different tracks on the EP.
Wild EP got its promotional track through the second track—“Searching”—a love song which shows her going through the phase, asking her lover to be a bit more patient with her and the relationship, not just giving up on it even after saying: “it’s over” as she is still searching for her self and purpose. Lady Donli sings: “I just wanna know who I am / (who I am, who I am) / I hope that you can try to understand / I just wanna know who I am / (who I am, who I am) / Searching but I’ll be there when I can”.
Lady Donli’s new EP feature Shaé Universe, Sugarbana ( both on “PUT IT ON”) and Ragz Originale on the final track—“Set Tha Fire / Love Gyal”.
