Odion Ighalo has 2 months left on his 6-month contract with Manchester United which is likely to be extended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Most football fans, Former Manchester United players never gave him a chance at Manchester United but interestingly, Ighalo has since settled well and has been involved in five goals (scoring four times and creating one assist) in eight games before the season was suspended.
Now, the former Super Eagles have to wait and find out if his loan spell will be extended after manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has hinted that the impressive performances of the Nigerian striker could see him earning a permanent transfer.
But the news of his parent club trying to offer him a new contract worth £400,000 a week doubling his current £200,000 might bring doubt over his Manchester United future.
Apparently, United will not offer Ighalo such mammoth weekly wages but Most Nigerian football fans are of the opinion that he should return to his parent club and earn far better than he would at Old Trafford.
However, there are reasons why Ighalo snubbing Shenhua will be a better option for him.

Then the ongoing pandemic makes it absolutely frightening for him to return to China considering the fact the Pandemic Coronavirus originated from Wuhan Province in China and extending his stay at Manchester United will be a better option.
