According to Netflix, the fantasy series starring Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams topped their Top 10 TV chart for the week of Nov. 21–27 with 341.2 million hours viewed following its Nov. 23 premiere.
This places “Wednesday” as the new record holder for the most hours viewed in a week for an English-language TV series on Netflix. It’s amazing when you realize that the previous title holder was “Stranger Things” season 4! which had 335.01 million hours viewed from May 30 to June 5.
Furthermore, Netflix states that over 50 million households have seen “Wednesday” since it premiered just under a week ago. But that’s not all; Wednesday also shares a record with Stranger Things for its reach, being #1 in 83 countries simultaneously, highlighting its significant international appeal. .
