Wani, alias Wani Wonder is back with the sequel to his debut project which got released in 2018, rightfully naming this new release – “Lagos City Vice 2”. Features from rap duo – Show Dem Camp (“Faji”), 2021’s breakthrough talent – Buju (“Times Two”) and multi-colour dyed hair diverse artiste – PrettyboyDO (“Hennessy”).
Wani continues the hybrid genre of Highlife, Afrobeat and chilled Pop on Lagos City Vice 2, singing about living the fun party-filled lifestyle, having many girls to keep him company and getting the bag. Not only did Wani bring the vocals on Lagos City Vice 2 but he was all hands on deck, mixing and mastering 33.3% of the songs on the project.
He works with Higo, Steph, Timi Jayy, Wonda Magik, Adey, Bizzouch and Trill Xoe on the sound engineering and production aspect of Lagos City Vice 2 while the featured artistes (named above) added their own respective sauce and spice to bless Wani’s sophomore project.
