Veteran musician, Waje is set to release her first album since 2018 on the 22nd of July 2022. She revealed this via a Twitter post early this morning (June 9).
“My album is done and [was] submitted months ago”, the octave ranged singer wrote on her Twitter page in reply to a fan, going further to reveal the date in a now deleted tweet to be July 22nd, although she notes it has not been officially revealed to the media by her team yet.
Waje’s started the year strong like she did last year in which she released an EP (‘Heart Season’), 2 solo singles and jumped on song with various acts. Already she has recorded a fan-favourite in Vibes, the May released new single with Falz.
Come July 22, fans of the singer will be expecting nothing but brilliance from her third album. Waje’s last album came out on December 7, 2018 in the title of ‘Red Velvet’. As stated, Waje’s deleted the tweet but fans have their fingers crossed for an official statement to reaffirm July 22 as the release date for the album, hoping for yet another Waje’s masterpiece.
