Tweeps Praise Netflix’s Jagun Jagun on Social Media

The recently released Netflix original series, Jagun Jagun is gaining a lot of positive attention from Nigerians on social media.

Following the release of Jagun Jagun on Netflix on August 10th, Nigerians trooped to X, formerly Twitter, to share their thoughts on the film.

These responses have been overwhelmingly positive. As you can see below:

The positive reactions towards the film are not surprising, seeing as renowned Nollywood veteran Femi Adebayo produced the film. Also, it was co-directed by his talented brothers, Tope Adebayo and Adebayo Tijani. Interestingly, Femi Adebayo recently said that his aim with this project is to surpass the records set by his 2022 film, ‘Agensikole.’  A feat he has obviously achieved.

Moreover, the film is another beneficiary of Netflix’s significant investment in Nollywood. This investment has resulted in several other high-quality projects, such as King of Boys (The return of the king) and Anikulapo” by Kunle Afolayan.
