Taiwo and Kehinde Kassim of the music duo The Kazez put out their first official single of the year titled Church Mind produced by Semzi.
On Church Mind, the brother-duo asserts to knowing how to treat a woman properly but to the detriment of her current relationship as they try wooing and convincing her out of her present romantic relationship, ironically using biblical puns to buttress their point.
“Make I tell you something for my church mind / I go dey pray for you day and night“, they open the song with the intriguing chorus promising to be available anytime their attention is needed by the woman of their dreams. Admittedly they sing, “I know you got a man / It’s hard to understand how you got another man” but they keep on praying for her to leave him and come be with them for the sing, “On Jah / I be the garden of Eden / You be the apple of my eyes“, wittily composing to giving into their human desires, “Can’t lie / I dey give into temptations sometimes“, they openly confess to wanting to risk it all for love.
