“Sorry I’m Late” by Buju is out now!

After about two years since the drop of his first song (“Lenu”), Buju puts out his first ever project, acknowledging the long wait with the title of his debut extended play (EP) – Sorry I’m Late. On it is 7 different tracks, spanning 19 minutes, with lyrics painted on Afrobeat palletes, assisted with a few variety of colours like Amapiano (on “Kilometer”), Highlife (on “Ogechukwu”) and a recurring soft pop theme which easily trascends into the almagamated sub-genre known as Afro-pop.

On the first two tracks, that is, “Daniel Benson” and “Never Stopped”, Buju is well aware of his gifted ability to serenade audience with ease and he sings to boasts of that, convincing himself and listeners (and/or fans) that this is just the beginning as he has miles ahead to reach in his musical journey. Highlife men duo are the only featured guests on Sorry I’m Late, coming on as producers and background vocalists on the 5th track.

Buju lyricism and composure is as impressive as always, guaranteeing listeners a pleasurable 19 minutes of wholesome music. Listen below:
