Nollywood film star Rita Dominic was thrilled to be hosted by Moët & Chandon for her star-studded bridal shower over the weekend with EbonyLife’s Jinja restaurant being the spot for the glamorous and emotional event.

Moët & Chandon celebrated the Nollywood bride-to-be—Rita Dominic—on her special day with grand gestures in the celebration of love.
EbonyLife’s Jinja restaurant was the chosen spot for the delightful actress as some few good friends honoured the invite, providing wholesome company to Rita Dominic on Sunday, April 10, 2022. They all enjoyed a 3-course Asian fusion menu paired with Moët & Chandon champagne. Rita Dominic stunned in a gorgeous shift dress, looking every bit the bride-to-be.
The bridal shower was filled with fun, gifts and games, and a feeling of warmth for the beautiful movie star. It was clear as daylight how beloved Rita Dominic is to her industry friends as they took turns in giving well thought-out speeches and sharing useful advice to her.
Nollywood icons Joke Silva, Ego Boyo and sister of bride-to-be Doreen Ene who have all enjoyed and is still enjoying blissful long-lasting unions with their respective partners dropped nuggets for Rita on how to maintain a marriage. Joke Silva in her speech included a Yoruba proverb which translates to: “Who has taken their time before taking a step will not make a mistake.”
Doreen Ene advised Rita Dominic to keep the communication line between her and husband-to-be always open, “you must continue to have fun and smile with your husband”, Doreen emphasised.
Rita and friends all joined voices in singing “That’s What Friends Are For” by Dionne Warwick, a moment so emotional it moved Rita Dominic to tears of joy. Rita stated that so many of her friends who could not be present in person had already showered her with so much love already, “‘I am honestly overwhelmed by the amount of love you all have shown me by being here today, your presence and warm words have made my heart melt like butter tonight. I will hold on to your words dearly as I go into this new phase.” Rita said.
Ini Edo, Rita Dominic’s fellow actress and friend complements Rita’s speech, saying “many are changing their already tight schedules to attend the wedding.” EbonyLife’s owner Mo concluded the evening with the vote of thanks. Thereafter, the ladies took to the dance floor to show their unique dance moves. The bridal shower was indeed filled with great camaraderie!
