Reason Why Romelu Lukaku Struggled With Weight At Manchester United

Romelu Lukaku was suffering from a malfunctioning digestive system that nor he or Manchester United had knowledge about last season.
Despite scoring 27 goals in 52 games, the Belgian striker struggled with his weight management and came under strong criticism from fans and pundits alike, including legend Gary Neville, who said his “unprofessionalism is contagious”.

The Telegraph report that Lukaku’s fitness difficulties were as a result of problems linked with his digestive system that went undiagnosed until Inter Milan were able to rectify it following a £74 million move.
Lukaku after joining Inter reportedly weighed 104kg at Inter pre-season training and was placed on a strict diet and extra training by Antonio Conte as a result.
Lukaku lost half a stone (7lbs) in just 12 days to regain sharpness and fire on all cylinders in Serie A.
He was on the score sheet on his debut against Lecce and has since then socred 21 goals and four assists in 31 appearances – the latest of which was the final goal in a thrilling 4-2 win over rivals AC Milan at the San Siro on Sunday.
