Psycho YP drops heavy trap-influenced “Euphoria”

Abuja’s finest and Nigerian trap king, Psycho YP brings his ever bubbling cadence, deep-rooted bars and trap aura on his latest album—Euphoria. He does so by calling his fellow heavy trap hitters from South Africa, J Molly and PatricKxxLee accompanied by his Nigerian brothers, Alpha P, Rosstokyo and Trill Tega, spreading them out over 9 tracks for 23 minutes.

On Euphoria, YP continues to pay homage to the city he’s from—Abuja—whiile resounding himself as the king of rap in Nigeria. He speaks on a plethora of subjects ranging from family to upbringing to celebrating his achievements thus far using upbeat fast-paced rap, trap and drill productions.

Like the name suggests, Euphoria, it brings the listeners to an excited state, that Psycho YP does effortlessly on title track “Euphoria”, rapping over a perfect blend of instrumentals, giving off a trippy feeling; leaving a warning for his opps on the penultimate track, sending shots their way, that they’re going to end up “6 Feet Deep” if they mess with him or his crew.

When not sending direct threats to opposers, YP is engrossed in dishing subliminal bars to “Industry N***s” while making “Big Moves” like the top dog he is. After all said and done, make sure to listen to Psycho YP’s new project Euphoria for he comes “In Peace”.
