Phyno and Olamide continue their sonic bromance with the new single, ‘Ojemba’, a track that offers praise to the Almighty God for his unending protection, and wonders in the life of both stars.

Phyno starts off the song with verse one sung in his indigenous Igbo language mixed with colloquial Nigerian Pidgin English. He sings: “Oluwa cover me o / Man no fit be God o / They wan make I slow down o / But I no go look back o / Ọ kwa Chukwu na-enye o / E dey sweet me for belle o / Ife ọ sọlụ fa mebe o / Abụkwa m ojemba enwe ilo”.

Phyno is confident to place his trust in the Most High, and rest assured that God will always deliver despite the evil-minded humans around him.

Olamide will soon take the mic, but not before Phyno’s clinical hook. Olamide stays on topic, singing about knowing his strengths, and having confidence in God to keep him soaring above his peers.

If I fall, I rise, I got my eyes set on the prize / . . . / Oluwa cover me anytime / We can’t stop, we carry shinning armor / On our way to Zion / All my guys them be Lion”, Olamide declares with conviction in the second verse.

Ojemba‘s production centres around two of the most recycled genres in Nigeria, that is, the track has elements of Highlife (Igbo) and Afrobeats in its mid-tempo instrumental. Xtofa is responsible for making the beautiful beat.

Phyno and Olamide share their trust in God and plan to keep winning in life in Ojemba. If you share the same sentiments as them, make sure to listen:
