Olamide reveals the title of his next project to be “Unruly”; says it might be his last album

Olamide Adedeji, simply called Olamide or his Baddo alias, for decades has been and still is one of the most instrumental figures in the Nigerian hip-hop sector and music industry at large. His first heavy punchline single—”Eni Duro”–immediately gave him a name in the industry and in no time, he became a yardstick for many indigenous indigenous rappers on the rise, especially those of Yoruba origin.

Olamide, who has been the most consistent Nigerian artiste ever in terms of releasing projects, doing so by releasing at least one project per year since 2011 (“Rapsodi”) with the exception being 2018, wherein Olamide did not release a personal album but dropped the debut and only joint YBNL collaboration project in “YBNL MaFia Family”; Olamide’s last album was “UY Scuti” which was released last year June. He however has revealed his next album is “95% done

Olamide has titled his next project “Unruly”. On its release date, he honestly tells: “I don’t know“. Reason being that: “[I’m] Taking my time to make it the best ever… probably my last album.. dough I’ll drop singles once in a blue moon when I feel like it.. it’s been a mad ass run !! giving albums back to back (sic).

If this is surely meant to be his last album, then it would surely be saddening to many fans and music enthusiasts as they try comprehending and basking in the legacy and glory of one of Nigeria’s brightest music superstars. What a run!
