New Netflix Original Movies Debuting this September

Netflix, the world’s largest streaming service, is well-known for its immense library of original and licensed content. However, having so many options at your disposal might make choosing what to watch difficult. To make things easier, here are the Netflix original movies debuting in September.

Love at First Sight (Sept. 15)

This YA rom-com stars Haley Lu Richardson and Ben Hardy as two strangers, Hadley and Oliver, who meet at the airport and instantly feel a romantic connection. They spend the night on the plane getting to know one another, but when they arrive at Heathrow, they are separated, and neither can find the other in the chaos. However, fate may intervene to alter the odds. The film is based on Jennifer E. Smith’s novel, The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight, and is produced by the minds behind the To All The Boys films.

El Conde (Sept. 15)

Pablo Larran directs this, which follows Augusto Pinochet, a 250-year-old vampire who decides to die after suffering from ailments caused by his disgrace and family problems. Gloria Münchmeyer, Jaime Vadell, Alfredo Castro, and Paula Luchsinger star in the film.

The Black Book (Sept 22)

If you enjoy suspense, this is the film for you. The Black Box, which is Netflix’s latest Nollywood offering, is a crime thriller about a man seeking vengeance on the corrupt cops who murdered his only child. Editi Effiong directs the film and stars several Nollywood veterans, including Richard Mofe-Damijo, Alex Usifo Omiagbo, Denola Grey, Ade Laoye, and Sam Dede.You can read more about The Black Box here.

Spy Kids: Armageddon (Sept 22)

Netflix will debut its reboot of the 2001 classic kids movie Spy Kids. The Robert Rodriguez-directed reboot is titled Spy Kids: Armageddon and follows the children of the world’s greatest secret agents. They must save their parents and the world from a powerful Game Developer who controls all technology. Spy Kids: Armageddon stars Zachary Levi, Gina Rodriguez, Everly Carganilla, Billy Magnussen, Connor Esterson and D.J. Cotrona.
