On this new single, Mr Eazi happens to have found solace in the company of his fiancée (Temi Otedola), although he did not namedrop, he admitted this on the podcast they co-host, ‘How Far? With Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola’. The last two episodes were season specials tagged ‘The Proposal’ and split into part 1 and 2. On those two episodes Mr Eazi comfortably revealed his then girlfriend and now fiancée was the motive behind the wordings of Legalize.
“I don’t wanna do no koro baby make we legalize”, Mr Eazi declares his intentions of wanting to go to the next phase in their relationship—wanting to make it public by means of marriage. The conviction is so strong, he says: “Even if you don’t know baby I go make you realize (make you realize)I no go let you go baby na you be my wife”.
Aside from Legalize being a personal moment Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola will share forever, it is also sure to make its way into various weddings playlists as it contains words of affirmation and declaration of love which lovers and newly wedded couple share sentiments with.
