Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One Debuts as Tom Cruise’s Highest-Rated Film on Rotten Tomatoes

The rotten tomato score for Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One has been released, and it is incredible. The score, which was released prior to the global premiere of Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One on July 12, presently has a rating of 99 percent based on 130 reviews. However, this may shift slightly jn the future due to negative reviews.

Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One sets a new record for the long-running Mission: Impossible franchise, as well as the film’s leading man, with a certified fresh 99 percent Rotten Score. This is the highest-rated film in Tom Cruise’s 40-year career. Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One follows IMF agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) as he embarks on his most dangerous mission yet. The movie features several notable stunt scenes, including an intense train wreck sequence and Cruise’s motorcycle cliff jump.

While reviewing the film, critic Eric Marchen of Rogers TV stated, “Per usual, Cruise and director Christopher McQuarrie go above and beyond with death-defying action sequences that’ll have you on the edge of your seat wondering how the showmen are able to pull off the impossible.”

Liikewise, Michael J. Casey of Boulder Weekly also stated, “As a physical performer, Cruise is one of the best working today.” ., Going on to praise Cruise’s contributions to the film on both sides of the camera. “With Cruise pulling double duty as star and producer, he makes sure the $290 million budget ends up on screen.”

Further, Dead Reckoning Part One may become the franchise’s best-performing film. It is currently expected to achieve the franchise’s highest opening weekend box office. With some projections indicating that it will have a $90 million opening weekend. However, it is unknown whether it will have the same strong legs as last year’s Top Gun: Maverick.

This is due to the fact that other major summer blockbusters will be released shortly after. Oppenheimer and Barbie, for example, will be released on July 21, two weeks after Dead Reckoning Part One. Despite these potential roadblocks, there is tremendous hope that Dead Reckoning Part One will perform well at the box office. Particularly due to the franchise brand recognition and how well received Cruises recent performances have been.

The sequel, Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part Two, is set to enter theaters on June 28, 2024.  But you can watch the trailer for part one below:
