Mayorkun is back with yet another tune, this time around, he publicly declares being “Back In Office”, serving us catchy lines on this new song in preparation for his sophomore album which will drop this month of Ocotber.
On the Amapiano-infused track—Back In Office—Mayorkun boldly declares himself the best while thanking the most high God for placing him in his current position. Mayorkun also cleverly annotes Drake’s hook on Big Sean’s hit single “Blessings”, rendering his as: “I’m here for the good times and the long time, you know I / Nothing you say to me can get to me now / I held down the lock down for a long time, you know I (of Lagos) / I’m way up, I feel blessed”.
