Hayden Christensen who plays Anakin Skywalker thanked fans for supporting him reprising role in the Disney+ Star wars series Ahsoka.
Star Wars prequels star, Hayden Christensen returned to the Star Wars franchise last year along side Ewan McGregor (Obi wan). In the Disney+ Obi wan mini series and received immense support from fans.
This year, Hayden Christensen once again reprised his role of Anakin Skywalker in Disney+’s Ashoka series. Hayden appears in three instances on the show. His first appearance was in “Part Five: Shadow Warrior” when Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson) encounters Anakin in the World Between Worlds. He appears again when Ahsoka trains using an old training video of Anakin. Furthermore, the series ends with Anakin’s Force Ghost watching over Ashoka and her padawan Sabine.
Following the conclusion of the series, The official Star Wars and Ahsoka Instagram accounts have been sharing videos of actors talking about their characters on show. In the latest video Christensen talks about his return to the franchise.
He said “When I read the scripts for the first time, I was just blown away.” “I was thrilled to get to come back and do more with this character, and to get to work with these people who I really admired.”
Christensen added that: “It’s been really remarkable, the support that I’ve felt from the fans.” “It has been just amazing, I mean it’s a hard thing for me to really define for you in words.” “It’s meant a lot, and it’s why I get to come back to Star Wars and do more with this character, and it’s really been a special thing.”
Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy. It stars Rosario Dawson, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Mary Elizabeth, the late Ray Stevenson, Ivanna Sakhno, Diana Lee Inosanto, David Tennant, Lars Mikkelsen and Eman Esfandi.
