Ghanaian man, Patrick Amenuvor, who attempted a Stand-a-thon to break the Guinness World Record for longest standing by an individual, quit after four hours.

An official release by Amenuvor’s Management, on Monday, attributed the cancellation to what it described as “electrical outages and technical complications” which disrupted the event during the specified period.

The management said to ensure complete adherence to the principles of integrity and fair play, it became imperative to “cease the official Stand-a-thon attempt”.
