Fans can finally get a glimpse of Marvel’s Hugh Jackman’s return as Wolverine in Marvel Studios upcoming “Deadpool & Wolverine” film. The studio debuted the first trailer for the film at the recently concluded 2024 Super Bowl.

The trailer begins a couple of years after the events of Deadpool 2. In it, we see Wade/Deadpool and his friends celebrating his birthday. When suddenly troops from Loki’s Time Variance Authority show up to capture him. However, Wade doesn’t appear surprised by their sudden appearance and gets taken away through a portal.
Once at the TVA, Deadpool is introduced to agent Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen). Who informs him that the TVA needs his assistance. The trailer then showcases various action scenes, including one in which Deadpool fights on a battlefield with a destroyed 20th-century Fox logo appearing in the background. This could indicate that several characters from Fox’s previous Marvel flicks will feature in Deadpool and Wolverine.
The trailer concludes with a bloodied Wade on the floor, with Wolverine’s shadow looming above him. Deadpool and Wolverine is unquestionably a multiverse picture that tries to honor the finest of the Fox period while also preparing the road for the official inclusion of the X-Men into the MCU canon.
The sequel’s official synopsis reads:Wolverine is recovering from his injuries when he crosses paths with the loudmouth, Deadpool. They team up to defeat a common enemy.
Deadpool & Wolverine will premiere in theaters worldwide on July 26th.
