Marketing for Shazam! Fury of the Gods is officially in full swing. As Warner Bros. Pictures recently unveiled a brand-new poster and the final trailer for the upcoming DC Universe film, signaling that Fury of the Gods is now in full swing.

Following the events of the first movie, Shazam! Fury Of The Gods features Billy Baston and his foster siblings as they navigate life while using their adult superhero alter egos and the powers of the gods. However, Billy and his family are soon caught in the crossfire of a vengeful trio of ancient gods known as the Daughters of Atlas, who are on Earth in search of stolen magic.
This sets the stage for a battle between the Shazam family and the gods which will determine the fate of the entire world.Shazam! Fury Of The Gods is The first DCU movie to be released after a period of intense upheaval at DC Studios and its recently merged parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery. This internal crisis significantly altered the film’s scheduling as it was originally scheduled for an April 1, 2022 release date.
However, Shazam star, Zachary Levi, recently addressed these changes while defending the new DC bosses. Stating that: “We should always be trying to tap into as many audiences as possible, making as many people as happy as possible”.
“That’s what we’re in entertainment for, and I think that’s what Peter and James are really trying to do, and it’s not an easy position. They got handed all of these things that were already in a lot of conflict.”
“So guys, just f**king give them a break. Take it easy. Take a breath.”
Shazam! Fury of the Gods is currently slated to release in cinemas on March 17.
