Davido’s DJ gets blasted for his “poorly executed” performance at “Davido at O2” concert

Daviddo made history last night (March 5) by shutting down the 20,000 capacity O2 Arena in London for the second time. This he marked in grand style through his shiny clothing and treating fans to a thrilling live performance along with his band, The Compozers.

Everything seemed to be going fine, vocally and visually and co-ordination wise during Davido’s solo performance of his many hit singles from “Dami Duro” to “Champion Sound” until guest acts began to come on and excite the crowd with the own songs and that was when things got a bit ticklish as the DJ’s response to Davido’s command appeared slow; his (the DJ’s) pace was faster than band’s pace as he kept on playing songs even when being told “DJ stop the music” by Davido.

Another mishap that occurred which triggered attendees and streamers of the show was when the DJ played a song during Patoranking’s performance and apparently the song was downloaded from a non-DSP or blog with the tag “This song was downloaded from trendingbeatz.com”. Amongst other errors made by the DJ was when Zlatan came on stage and during his high octane performance, the DJ initially played “Killin Dem” but almost immediately scratched it off, bringing it to an abrupt end.

Fans of superstar artiste Davido have taken to Twitter to air their disapproval on the below par performance from the DJ, saying at such a big stage, such mistakes and uncoordination cannot be condoned. Some even called out Davido to make sure he puts his technical team in order for future purposes, asking him to reprove the DJ and properly discipline him for such avoidable errors. To sum it up, fans felt the DJ put out a mediocre performance, although there is always room for improvement, the poorly executed one at O2 is inexcusable.
