Cheque’s debut album, “Bravo”, drops on Thursday

Superboy Cheque made a name for himself on the Nigerian music scene by releasing his acclaimed first project and EP, “Razor”, March 2020; “Razor” had the smash-hit “Zoom” which led to its remix featuring Davido and American rapper, Wale. With the cumulative success of his debut EP and the two other singles he dropped this year, Cheque is ready to go big by releasing his much anticipated album on Friday. It is named Bravo.

Bravo is home to 13 carefully selected tracks, featuring YBNL heavyweights, Olamide (on “LOML”) and Fireboy DML (on “History”). Ayra Starr also secures a guest spot (on “Dangerous”) alongside Haiti-American rapper, Jackboy (on “No One Else”).

Pushed by two singles, namely: “History” and “LOML”, it is expected of Bravo to continue Cheque’s fusion of Trap with Afropop. Quite a good number of producers work with Cheque in making sure his debut album comes to fruition, BeatByJayy, Andyr and Eli are among the chosen few.

Bravo comes out on 9/23. The world awaits Superboy Cheque’s first LP.
