Blaqbonez is back, this time with the Deluxe Edition to his 2021 album, Sex Over Love which showcases his high testosterone filled character known as Emeka the Stallion—a toxic male character who is only concerned about having sex with females and never about the emotional attachments that might result afterward.
On Sex Over Love (Deluxe Edition), Blaqbonez adds 5 new tracks, including the remix to “Okwaraji” remix with Bella Shmurda and Shut Up remix from “Mr Bombastic” featuring Kwesi Arthur (Ghana), Tellaman (South Africa) and Kuami Eugene (Ghana); he also remixed Run My Race from the same 2019 project with Kida Kudz and PrettyboyDO; Blaqbonez however adds 2 new tracks: 4 Door Jeep (track 1) and Medicine featuring Oxlade (track 3).
With this Deluxe Edition, Blaqbonez continues to blend different sounds using rap as the main footstool: All featured acts bring something special to the tracks they are featured on. One thing I especially like is Blaqbonez bringing back the “Best Rapper in Africa (BRIA)” alter ego on Shut Up as he completely flipped the beat on the record’s outro, bragging with fitting bars on why he deserves the crown to the throne of Africa’s best MC.
