Dagbana Republik hitman—Bella Shmurda—counts his blessings as he reveals his songs across digital streaming platforms (DSPs) have been played, downloaded and streamed a total of five hundred and fifty (550) million times. He made this public knowledge over a tweet earlier today (26 January 2022).
Although celebrating his wins thus far in his career, Bella Shmurda reflects on how doing music affected his academics negatively but he does not regret taking that big leap to pursue music and stardom in place of his schooling at Lagos State University (LASU).
Bella wrote “I now worth over half a billion streams (550millions streams to be precise)“, he begins with, ending the tweet with “forever glad I did my thing” as he retrospects on being “stranded with nothing in my pocket” while studying at LASU.

In another tweet, he thanks, he offer thanks to Poco Lee and Olamide for pushing him to record his breakthrough hit single, “Vision 2020” which had the latter on its remix.
