Off of his signing to YBNL with a hit single—”Omo Ope”—cosigned by Olamide, Asake releases his debut EP, titled after his government name, Ololade Asake, a 4-track project blessed with 2 features from Olamide Baddo himself on the first and third track.
Ololade Asake is produced by Magicsticks (tracks 1, 2 and 3) and Niphkeys (track 4) while the mixing and mastering is handled by Magicsticks and Eskeezonthebeat. The first track, “Trabaye”, is more of a prayer track, on which Asake makes his plans known to God on how mucn he wants to enjoy life and all the good fruits that come with it; Olamide crowns the song with a vote-of-confidence outro. “Sungba” is a party themed song, an Amapiano-produced track, so dancing is guaranteed, it is the second song on Ololade Asake EP. “Omo Ope”, the chart-friendly single and fans favourite comes on next featuring Olamide while the EP is brought to a close with another prayer-themed track in the title of “Baba God”.
