Ololade mi Asake is back with yet another impressive song with a well thought out video directed by TG Omori to show for it. On this new song Asake titles Peace Be Unto You or PBUY in acronym format, the talented singer wishes for more grace from God to continue enjoying his new found life as he continues to apply the knowledge and lessons discovered in his endeavours thus far to better himself.

Once again, Magicsticks with the sound tag “Tune in to the king of sounds and blues” handles the production work for Asake on PBUY. The intro contains the usual appraisal of Asake we have grown accustomed to hearing on his recent song and a brilliant flip of “Help me, Help me / Help me / Help me, Help me, Help me, Help me / E dey carry me dey go where I no know”, a sound bite from a trendy video circulating the Nigerian social media space. Once the intro is done, Asake goes into his bag of tricks, impressing listeners with lyrics and charisma as he makes sure to deliver another sizzling performance for their pleasure.

On the first verse, Asake encourages his audience to keep fighting for better days as they are soon to come. Using himself as a prime example, he flaunts his now expensive lifestyle, happily singing “I no dey send I dey chop my life / 100 percent we dey gbadun lo” while on the second verse he admonishes a girl by the name of Emiliano to take it easy for she is the only person he is interested in; the chorus boasts of Asake’s riches and stunts, “The money long cos I don pashe”, he starts with, “Omo dudu, omo pupa, emi lo ma fe / Range rover me ji, e lo ma je, je, je”, he brags of the variety of women in his corner and the expensive price of Range Rover (or high end cars) not being a cause for concern or to worry about but he still maintains his humility as he beckons on God to keep on blessing him, “Oluwa shower me your blessings / Times two / Odejowo / Kodahun / In every situation make I no lose / Emi o shakomo / Olohun / Je kawon padi mi ma bisa / Taink you”, he concludes Peace Be Unto You, even asking for the same fate for those around him.
